Some Westminster fall baseball and softball divisions still have room even after this month's registration deadline passed.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Registration for Westminster Baseball & Softball's 2026 fall season closed Saturday, Aug. 15, but the league's site shows several divisions still taking players. T-Ball and Rookie Baseball are listed as "Limited Spots Available," as are 8U Rookie Softball and 15U Senior Softball. Minor Baseball, Major Baseball, Babe Ruth 13-16, 10U Minor Softball and 12U Major Softball are listed as "Registration Closed." Babe Ruth 13-16 and 16U+ Senior Softball remain under evaluation, with the league saying those programs will depend on participation from Westminster and surrounding towns. The fall season runs Sept. 12 through Nov. 1, with T-Ball playing Saturday afternoons in Westminster, Rookie through Major Baseball playing Saturday games against other NCMB towns, and softball divisions playing a mix of Westminster practices and Saturday or Sunday games, including Sunday games in Leominster for 12U Major and 15U Senior Softball.
